This metal duct opens only from one side. Place this funnel on the opening of the skunks den with the duct opening side towards the den. After seeing this funnel on the opening of its den the skunk will hesitate to come out of the den but when it starts starving it will have to come out. The duct opens only to one side so the skunk can pass through it and go out but when the skunk tries to go back in the den through the funnel the duct will not allow it to as it cannot open from the other side. When the Washington skunk tries to push the duct, the funnel gates will close from both the ends and the skunk will get trapped in it.
